I view therapy as a collaborative process and see my role as a guide. Therapy can be a great way to honor and care for yourself. I believe in looking at things through a holistic lens and supporting the brain body connection. I hope to create a space in which you feel heard, safe, and know that all the parts of you are welcome.
Trauma and painful life events don't just fade away or resolve with time. Trauma changes our brains and bodies, but the good news is that there are ways to rebuild and recover from the impact of trauma and painful life events. I have extensive training in the impact of trauma on our brains and bodies as well as ways to heal from it.
Our human experience can involve feelings of being stuck or lost. There are times in life when we might not know who we are anymore, or what becoming unstuck looks like. I enjoy working with individuals who would like to gain clarity on who they are and reconnect back to their Self, others, and the more than a human world around us.
KAP (Ketamine Assisted Therapy) is a type of therapy that utilizes Ketamine (medicine) in session to assist with processing and healing of wounds as well as reconnecting to self and the world around us.
If you are currently experiencing a life change or transition, I would love to be a guide in this journey with you. I enjoy helping others navigate life changes, both internal and external. Life is full of change and challenges, and I would be honored to be a part of your process.
Psychedelic experiences can be beautiful, profound, painful, confusing, etc. If you are struggling to integrate (to make whole) an experience that you had, I would love to utilize my skill set in assisting you with this. Psychedelic medicine can be a beautiful way to heal, however, making sense and meaning of these experiences can be challenging; having a trained clinician to explore these experiences, make meaning, and identify how to stay connected with these insights can be extremely helpful and profound.
These are two of the most common words that I hear when clients share about daily difficulties. I believe in getting at the root cause of what causes anxiety and depression. I would be honored to dive deep with you, get to know your internal world, and assist with healing these parts that can make our day-to-day challenging.
KAP is a great supplement to traditional therapy. KAP can be helpful for those experiencing a loss of connection to themselves or the world, those who experience internal rigidity including unhelpful thought patterns that you cannot get out of, rumination, repetitive behaviors, depression, suicidality, and more. Ketamine helps increase the production of BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) which is essential for neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is essential for psychological flexibility and seeing and experiencing the world in different ways.
