About Me

She/Her

"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living.

I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your hearts longing."

- Oriah Mountain Dreamer, The Invitation

How I Started

I believe in the power of connection as a driving force in healing. As a therapist, I see myself as a guide and facilitator, creating a safe space where you can explore your internal world with curiosity and self-compassion. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and empower you as you reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the natural world.

My approach is relational, non-pathologizing, and trauma-informed, blending science with the sacred to foster growth and transformation. I believe that healing is not just about addressing challenges but also about rediscovering joy, meaning, and purpose in life. I strive to create an environment where clients feel truly seen, heard, understood. I would describe myself as casual, relaxed, and inviting laughter and humor when it feels right.

Outside of Work

you can find me at the gym training jiu jitsu and Crossfit. I love testing the capabilities of my body and just moving my body. You’ll often hear me talk about the importance of power and connection and one of the ways I feel most connected is spending time with my friends, loved ones, pets, and being in nature. I have yet to meet a dog or cat that I didn’t want to adopt.

I have many plants that I do my best to keep alive! I love being outside and spending time in nature. I believe that how we treat our planet is how we will treat ourselves and others. I believe that privilege comes in many forms and that cultural competency is my moral obligation.

My Education

I earned my Master’s in Counseling from UMKC in 2013. After completing my Master’s, I spent five years in community mental health, working with highly vulnerable populations facing significant mental health concerns and substance misuse. I then transitioned into primary care before opening my private practice in 2020. My expertise includes trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and loss of connection.

I am deeply committed to a non-pathologizing, science-based approach that integrates relational and trauma-informed care to foster healing and growth. I would describe myself as eclectic, but mainly draw from the following models: EMDR, Branspotting, IFS (informed), Neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory, and psychedelic work and integration.

Psychedelic Training

I am energized and passionate about the psychedelic revolution. My formal training for psychedelic assisted therapy was in 2022 in which I received my certificate of Ketamine and Psychedelic medicine certificate. Since obtaining this training and certificate I have been involved in several psychedelic clinical trials. I love this work!

I have been a lead and co-lead facilitator on Phase I clinical trials using psilocybin (therapeutic and ultra therapeutic doses) and 5-MeO-DMT. I am currently a lead therapist on a phase one clinical trial using psilocybin and a group facilitator for a phase 3 clinical trial using psilocybin to treat depression. I believe that psychedelics can be a powerful tool for healing and navigating this human life.

I look forward to speaking with you!
